Greetings & Salutations!
A personal note from L. T. Noble
Hello, all you happy (and perhaps not-so-happy) people! I am grateful for each and every single one of my subscribers and followers! After scouting around Substack, I figured to formally (or informally, if you prefer) outline what I have to offer here.
Personally, I ask for patience. It has always been my intention to publish full books and I never imagined serializing the first drafts. So I am figuring out what that means, how it looks, etc.
I write books—and I mean, long form books. I rarely write anything shorter than 20,000 words. For example, one of my fun “short story” ideas became the book I am currently releasing, Hearts of Arkenstron: A Journey into the Unknown…and its sequel…and a third in the works. So much for little projects for me.
Currently I’m releasing two first draft chapters a week as posts, and I plan to continue this practice for the foreseeable future. My followers, as I understand, may not be informed of the new available chapters, so I’ll try to get out notes as I can. Please forgive me if I miss some.
As I can get these first drafts polished up for everyone to read and comment on, I will be posting. I’ve always been keen on getting my stories into the public forum.
On occasion, I probably will post something out of the ordinary, like poetry or a short story.
As I can, I will be trying to release regular notes. But being very new and very unfamiliar to social media, this is not my habit. So I apologize ahead of time if I slip on these.
I will be releasing book art (from actual artists, not me), maps, and (for those interested) linguistic notes for the language(s) I made up for my fantasy writing.
If you have any questions or comments, I’ll be glad to respond.
If you are looking for long stories to escape the mundane of daily life, then you’re at the right place. And should you find that you enjoy my first draft books, then I would greatly appreciate you hitting the Like button and even writing a comment if you feel so inclined. Again, to my subscribers and followers, I am extremely grateful for the time and consideration you have shown by joining this…this site? This page? This Substack? This channel? This journey? Well, whatever it’s called, thanks for joining it!
Your feverishly editing,
L. T. Noble

When you say "first draft", what does that mean, exactly? The result of a few cycles of editing in a single session?
Enjoy
